Cut Creatures 2020

Bridgy success
07/09/2020
With lockdown causing untold changes for everyone all over the world, it too has changed my usual fishing exploits, with work commitments and home life being the busiest it has been, and not getting over to the bigger quiet lakes in cheshire I had spent a bit of time walking the local canal with my kids and punch and pole fishing for shoals of roach and bream with Douglas (my son).

Whilst packing up and returning the fish we had caught, we were supposed to face to face with a large carp cruising past a foot out. This sighting ,it being a size of carp I would love to catch from the canal, then prompted a bit of a campaign over the coming weeks, of urban fishing on a more bustling and busy time from my usual haunts.

So far giving a run of lovely cut creature's, culminating in this old bruiser at 20lb 8oz. Not the biggest I've seen, but a goodun all the same.
